What does “No-Guess” actually mean?

Every board generated in No-Guess mode is checked to be solvable by logic alone before you ever see it. You will never reach a position where the only option is a 50/50 coin flip. If you are stuck, there is always a deduction available — and a hint can show you which one. Classic mode uses traditional generation, where guessing can occur.

I lost on a No-Guess board. Was it unsolvable?

Almost certainly not — a missed deduction is far more common. If you believe you found a genuinely unsolvable No-Guess position, please email us a screenshot; the board seed is reproducible and we will investigate it directly.

How do hints work?

A hint explains the reasoning rather than just revealing a square: it names the numbers it compared and the deduction that makes a cell safe. The free tier includes three hints a day; Sweep Pro removes the limit.

What is free, and what does Sweep Pro include?

Free gives you unlimited No-Guess Easy and Medium boards, the Daily Challenge every day, and three teaching hints daily. Sweep Pro is a single one-time purchase — never a subscription — unlocking every difficulty up to Master, custom boards and unlimited hints.

How do I restore my purchase on a new iPhone?

Open Settings inside the App and tap Restore Purchases, signed in with the same Apple Account you bought it with.

Do my stats and streak move to a new device?

Your daily streak and your best times sync through your own iCloud account, so they follow you automatically when iCloud Drive is enabled for Sweep. Full game history and settings are stored on the device itself and move across with an encrypted device backup.

My streak disappeared.

Streaks are counted by calendar day in your device's local time zone, so crossing time zones can shift when a day rolls over. If iCloud was unavailable on one device, opening the App while online usually reconciles it. If it still looks wrong, email us.

How do I unlock board themes?

Themes are unlocked with coins earned by playing, and Sweep Pro includes all of them. Coins cannot be purchased.

Can I undo a mistake?

Turn on Relaxed mode in Settings for one undo of a fatal tap per game. The Daily Challenge is always hardcore, so it stays fair for everyone. Zen mode has no clock and no losing at all.

Is Sweep playable offline?

Yes, entirely. Sweep needs no connection to generate or play boards.

Accessibility

Number colours use an Okabe–Ito colourblind-safe palette in every theme, there is a high-contrast theme, the hold-to-flag delay and cell size are adjustable, the toolbar can be mirrored for left-handed play, and the board is labelled for VoiceOver. If something is hard to use, please tell us — we treat that as a bug.

How do I delete my data?

Deleting the App removes everything stored on your device. Streak and best-time values held in iCloud can be removed from iOS Settings. See the Privacy Policy.
